The current training for Keppel is classroom-based and thus is inefficient and unable to cater for all the outfield personnel. Thus, Keppel needs an e-learning platform to conduct training for their internal staffs and external contractors whom will be working inside the Keppel compound.


ACP provided a cost effective learning management system that is SCORM compliant and was able to specifically customize solutions to meet Keppel’s functional requirements.  ACP worked on-site to develop and test the SSO integration with the existing Microsoft AD and integration with the PeopleSoft HR system.


Keppel was able to reduce the hassle of multiple accounts per personnel through the ACP’s learning management system which is SCORM compliant and is also integrated with existing PeopleSoft HR system to auto synchronize the personnel details and course details. The learning management system complies with the security policies required by Keppel to ensure the system is secure from hacking, the personal data is protected. The learning management system can be managed by the HR department with strong support from ACP as and when required.

The LMS was already active since September 2014. One session of training has already been conducted and well received. Keppel saved costs from conducting classroom-base courses and the enrolment rate and course completion rate.
