- In September 2009, SMRT tapped the services of ACP to develop an end-to-end solution from consultancy to integration with their SAP courses and training.
- Moodle was introduced by ACP since SMRT was in the practice of developing its own content and elearning assignments; there was no concern about ready content.
- Moodle is also a platform that they could own.

- ACP’s Moodle LMS solution was seamlessly integrated with SMRT’s SAP HR.
- With the Moodle platform, the learners at SMRT can quickly adapt to the technology even with simple computer knowledge.
- SMRT’s workforce is now more aligned to business goals, and they can improve customer service and retention with more skilled employees.
- The company was very impressed by the availability of modules they have in Moodle.
- Total cost of ownership is reduced drastically as Moodle is an open-source solution. TCO is reduced further by at least 30% since costs like delivery, utilities, space, equipment, etc. were eliminated.
- Reduced training costs by as much as 50% since they were able to slash travel expenses which roughly contribute to 60-67% of the traditional/classroom/instructor-led trainings.
